Digital no-stop or one-stop shops make administrative procedures more efficient and user-friendly.
One-stop shops allow various applications to be submitted via a central access point, while no-stop shops require no applications at all (Austrian family allowance and employee income tax returns no longer require an application to be filed).
Advantages for the public
One million Austrian citizens have already benefitted from employee income tax returns without needing to file applications. As the IT partner of the Federal Ministry of Finance, the BRZ is responsible for the technical implementation, including project management, development, and secure operation.
Innovative solutions for families
1.5 million Austrians already receive their family allowance without needing to file any application. The BRZ implemented this innovative solution on behalf of the Federal Ministries of Finance and Family Affairs. This app was awarded the Österreichische Verwaltungspreis and the European Public Sector Award in 2005.
