BRZ is again IT industry winner in BestRecruiters ranking

The BRZ offers applicants the best candidate experience and sets standards for career websites and job advertisements.
Career Institut & Verlag GmbH has again conducted a comprehensive study on recruiting for the period 2022/23. 561 companies in Austria were evaluated on the basis of around 300 criteria. The BRZ can once again be proud of its excellent rating, making 1st place in the industry ranking of IT/software/telecom companies for the third time in a row. In the overall ranking of all tested employers, the BRZ ranks 4th and is thus among the elite in Austria.
Transparent communication with applicants
Since the last study, the BRZ has focused heavily on optimizing its careers website as well as the content of job advertisements. The focus is on communicating the leadership principles as well as opportunities to engage in conversation with active BRZ employees (e.g. BRZ CareerTalk). In the job ads, candidates benefit from a clearer layout and job-specific videos with experts. Digital communication along the candidate journey has been revised and made more informative – from initial contact to preboarding to successful onboarding. Established but successful interactive formats such as the #be_IT livestreamings were continued and expanded on platforms such as Linkedin.
In the IT industry in particular, it has become extremely difficult to fill positions with suitable specialists. I am therefore all the more pleased that our intensive efforts to offer our applicants the best candidate experience are bearing fruit. We focus on communication: with clearer job advertisements, a comprehensive career website and an informative preboarding phase. We start at an early stage and accompany our applicants through to onboarding and a successful start at the BRZ," explains Myriam Mokhareghi, Head of HR at the BRZ.
